The meaning

What Khaybar means in Islam

Its forts had become the base from which the confederacy against Madinah was organised. The Prophet gave the banner to Ali after saying he would give it to a man who loves Allah and His Messenger and is loved by them. After the surrender the land was left with its farmers on a share of the harvest, an arrangement later cited in the law of crop sharing. It was here that Ja'far returned from Abyssinia, and the Prophet said he did not know which gladdened him more.
