The meaning
What Fath Makkah means in Islam
Quraysh had broken the Hudaybiyah truce, and he came with an army large enough to make resistance pointless. He entered with his head bowed low over his mount, cleared the idols from around the Ka'bah, and told the people who had driven him out and killed his family that they could go, there was no blame on them today. Surah an-Nasr, about people entering the religion in crowds, belongs to this moment. He also declared that there is no hijrah after the conquest.
