The meaning

What Hisab means in Islam

The Qur'an describes books handed to the right hand and to the left, and an easy reckoning for some (Qur'an 84:7-9). The Prophet peace be upon him said that a servant's feet will not move on that Day until he is asked about his life, his knowledge, his wealth and his body, in a report collected by al-Tirmidhi. Sound narrations also describe a group entering Paradise with no reckoning at all.
