The meaning

What Ashrat al-Sa'ah means in Islam

The Qur'an says its signs have already come (Qur'an 47:18), which commentators read as the sending of the final Prophet. The minor signs are gradual changes in society described across the hadith literature; the major ones are the ten listed in a report in Sahih Muslim, among them the Dajjal, the descent of Isa, Ya'juj and Ma'juj, the beast, the smoke, the sun rising from the west, and a fire that drives people to their final gathering. Reading current events as the fulfilment of signs is an old habit, and every attempt to put a date on it has been wrong so far.
