The meaning
What Nuzul Isa means in Islam
The Qur'an says he was not killed and not crucified, but that Allah raised him (Qur'an 4:157-158), and calls him a sign of the Hour (Qur'an 43:61). The hadiths describe his descent, his prayer behind the leader of the Muslims, and his death and burial afterwards like any other human being. He returns as a follower of the final Prophet, not with a new religion.
