The meaning
What Dajjal means in Islam
He is not named in the Qur'an, but the reports about him are so numerous that Sunni scholars treat them as certain. He is described as one eyed, with disbelief written between his eyes, given power to show wonders and to control provision, and finally killed by Isa. The Prophet peace be upon him said that every prophet warned his people about him, and taught the opening verses of Surah al-Kahf as protection.
