The meaning
What Ya'juj wa Ma'juj means in Islam
The Qur'an tells the story of the barrier of iron and molten copper (Qur'an 18:94-98) and says that when they are released they will swarm down from every height (Qur'an 21:96). Scholars have guessed for centuries about who and where they are; the honest answer is that the texts describe a time, not a place on a map. Their release is one of the ten major signs.
