The meaning
What Mus'ab ibn Umayr means in Islam
His mother had raised him in luxury and cut him off when he believed. After the first pledge at Aqabah the Prophet sent him alone to Madinah as teacher and reciter, and through him whole households of the Aws and Khazraj entered Islam before the Hijrah. He carried the banner at Uhud and was killed there. When they came to bury him they had only one short cloak: covering his head left his feet bare, and covering his feet left his head bare.
