The meaning
What Mina means in Islam
Pilgrims stay there on the eighth of Dhul Hijjah, called the day of tarwiyah, then return on the tenth after Arafah and remain for the days of tashriq, the eleventh to the thirteenth. The three jamarat stand at its edge. A pilgrim may leave after the twelfth if they depart before sunset; otherwise the thirteenth is completed.
