The meaning

What Hamzah means in Islam

He accepted Islam in anger, hearing that Abu Jahl had abused his nephew, and his conversion changed the balance of pressure on the Muslims in Makkah. He fought at Badr and was killed at Uhud by Wahshi, a man promised his freedom for the deed, and the Prophet was profoundly grieved by the state of his body. Years later Wahshi accepted Islam and was forgiven, though the Prophet asked him to keep his face out of sight. Hamzah is remembered as the chief of the martyrs.
