The meaning

What Ghar Thawr means in Islam

Quraysh had put a price on his head and search parties came close enough for Abu Bakr to see their feet. The Qur'an records the moment in Surah at-Tawbah, calling him the second of two when they were in the cave, and quoting his words to his companion: do not grieve, Allah is with us. The verse is the strongest single proof Sunnis cite for Abu Bakr's rank. Abu Bakr was in his fifties and climbed the mountain in the dark.
