The meaning

What Aishah means in Islam

She narrated over two thousand hadith, much of it about his life at home, and senior Companions came to her with questions of law and inheritance. When she was accused of adultery by rumour, the community was left in suspense for about a month before verses in Surah an-Nur cleared her and set the rule that such a charge needs four witnesses. She later took a side in the first civil war and afterwards spoke of it with open regret. She died in Madinah and is buried in al-Baqi.
