The meaning

What Talbiyah means in Islam

It continues: no partner have You, here I am, all praise and favour are Yours, and the dominion, You have no partner. It is said on entering ihram and repeated on the road, aloud by men and quietly by women. It is an answer to the summons the Qur'an says Ibrahim was told to proclaim. On umrah pilgrims stop when they begin the tawaf; on hajj the talbiyah continues until the stoning on the tenth.
