The meaning

What Sa'i means in Islam

It retraces Hajar's search for water for her infant son Isma'il, which ended with the spring of Zamzam. Each single crossing counts as one, so the seventh brings you to Marwah. The Qur'an names the two hills among the symbols of Allah. Men jog lightly between the two green markers, where the valley floor once lay; women walk throughout.
