The meaning
What Qada (making up worship) means in Islam
The Qur'an tells whoever is ill or travelling in Ramadan to fast the same number of other days, which is the clearest case of qada. Missed prayers are made up as soon as one is able, in order where practical, and there is no need to announce or dramatise it. Someone with years of missed prayers is usually advised to add a few to each day rather than attempt to clear them at once.
