The meaning
What Kibr means in Islam
That is the Prophet's own definition, peace be upon him, given in Muslim when a man asked whether liking good clothes counted as arrogance. He answered that Allah is beautiful and loves beauty, then gave the two signs. The Qur'an warns against walking the earth in self-importance (Qur'an 31:18). Kibr is measured by what you do with a correction, not by what you wear.
