The meaning

What Arkan al-Iman means in Islam

They are listed together in the hadith of Jibril, recorded in Sahih Muslim, when the Prophet peace be upon him is asked what faith is. The Qur'an gathers most of them in a single verse about the believers (Qur'an 2:285). These six are the frame, and almost every other question of creed is a detail hanging inside one of them.
