The meaning
What Riyad al-Salihin means in Islam
The title means the gardens of the righteous. He drew almost entirely on the well known collections, opened each chapter with verses of the Qur'an, and arranged the whole book around how a person should live rather than around legal chapters. A small number of its reports are weak, and modern critical editions mark these.
