The meaning
What La asla lahu means in Islam
This is stronger than calling something weak. A weak hadith has a chain that fails; a saying with no basis was never transmitted in the first place. Such sayings are usually folk wisdom, or a scholar's own phrase that drifted into quotation marks. A great deal of what circulates as hadith online belongs here.
