The meaning
What Takhrij means in Islam
The work has three steps: find where it was narrated, collect every route it came by, and weigh them together. It is the step most often skipped when a hadith is quoted online. A proper takhrij gives the source and the verdict, so a reader can check the claim instead of trusting whoever is quoting it.
