Ja'far ibn Abi Talib
Defended the muhajirin before the Negus, and traded two arms for two wings at Mu'tah.
The account
Elder brother of Ali and the Prophet's ﷺ look-alike in face and character: "you resemble my form and my manners." Before the Negus of Abyssinia he delivered the emigrants' defense: we were a people of ignorance, idols, dead flesh, the strong devouring the weak, until Allah sent us a messenger whose lineage and truthfulness we know… and he recited Maryam until the king wept into his beard. He returned the day Khaybar fell: "I do not know which delights me more, the conquest of Khaybar or the coming of Ja'far." At Mu'tah he held the banner until both arms were cut, and fell; the Prophet said Allah exchanged his arms for two wings, with which he flies in Jannah wherever he wills, Ja'far at-Tayyar.
