The meaning
What Qana'ah means in Islam
The Prophet peace be upon him said a person has succeeded who submitted, was given just enough, and was made content by Allah with what He gave him, in Muslim. He also said richness is not having many possessions, but richness of the soul, in Bukhari and Muslim. Qana'ah is not a ban on ambition or on earning. It is the removal of the ache that no amount answers.
