The meaning
What Khatm al-Qur'an means in Islam
Many aim for one in Ramadan at a juz a day, and most mosques finish the whole text across the nights of tarawih. The Prophet told a Companion who wanted to read faster not to complete it in fewer than three days, because understanding suffers. The supplication read at the end is a widespread custom rather than a fixed text from the Sunnah.
