The essay
The Qur'an gives this title twice in one surah, and both times at the point where everything else has been removed. Everyone on the earth will perish, and there remains the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honour. The surah is the one that asks, seventy-eight times, which of the favours of your Lord will you deny. Majesty and generosity are named as one thing because in Him they are one thing.

تَبَٰرَكَ ٱسۡمُ رَبِّكَ ذِي ٱلۡجَلَٰلِ وَٱلۡإِكۡرَامِ
