The meaning
What Nun Sakinah and Tanwin means in Islam
Tanwin is the doubled vowel sign at the end of a word, sounded as an n. The letter that comes next decides what happens to it: izhar, idgham, iqlab or ikhfa. This single family of rules is where nearly every beginner's tajwid course starts.
