The meaning
What Tuhfat al-Atfal means in Islam
Tuhfat al-Atfal, by al-Jamzuri, covers the rules of nun sakinah, meem sakinah and madd in about sixty lines of verse. Al-Jazariyyah, by Ibn al-Jazari, goes further into the articulation points and qualities of the letters. Ash-Shatibiyyah is the long poem behind the seven readings, and students normally reach it only after the first two are secure.
