The meaning
What Mujawwad and Murattal means in Islam
Mujawwad is the style of the great reciters at public gatherings, with long pauses and phrases repeated at different pitches. Murattal moves steadily from beginning to end and is what most people use for daily listening and for memorising. Both must obey the same tajwid; the difference is delivery, not rules.
