يَٰيَحْيَىٰ خُذِ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ بِقُوَّةٍۢ ۖ وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ ٱلْحُكْمَ صَبِيًّۭا وَحَنَانًۭا مِّن لَّدُنَّا وَزَكَوٰةًۭ ۖ وَكَانَ تَقِيًّۭا وَبَرًّۢا بِوَٰلِدَيْهِ وَلَمْ يَكُن جَبَّارًا عَصِيًّۭا

Qur'an 19:12–14 · Maryam

[Allah] said, "O John, take the Scripture with determination." And We gave him judgement [while yet] a boyAnd affection from Us and purity, and he was fearing of AllahAnd dutiful to his parents, and he was not a disobedient tyrant.

Saheeh International
