The Land of the Gathering
Not any country: a new earth, flat as pressed flour, with no landmark for anyone to claim.
The account
The last place every human being will stand is a place none has seen. "The Day the earth will be exchanged for another earth, and the heavens" (14:48): the Prophet ﷺ described the replacement surface with a baker's image: "mankind will be gathered on a white plain, tinged with redness, like a pure wheat loaf, with no landmark on it for anyone" (Bukhari 6521, Muslim 2790).
No landmark for anyone: the phrase carries the theology. No hill to rally at, no border to defend, no monument to hide behind, no address to inherit; the geography of privilege abolished by resurfacing. Toward this plain the fire drives the last generation, "and Sham is the land of the muster" in the direction-language of this world's map; on it the sun descends to a mile, the sweat rises by deeds, and the only elevations are moral: the shade of the Throne, the pulpits of light for the just, the high ground of remembered words. The Codex ends its atlas here deliberately: every place in these five sections was a test or a mercy; the last place is only a floor, and what stands tall on it arrives inside the standing people.
