The essay
He is the Last, and again it is not about lateness. It means there is no after. Everything you can name has a term, including the sun, including this planet, including the memory of your name. He remains when the sequence has run out. The Book says everything upon the earth will perish, and there remains the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honour, and it is the same claim as this Name.
