Made from water every living thing

Surah al-Anbiya says that We made from water every living thing. What biology observes is that water is the medium the whole business runs in. A human body is around sixty percent water by mass, a jellyfish closer to ninety five, and every chemical reaction inside a cell happens in solution. When astronomers search other worlds for life, the first thing they look for is liquid water, because nobody has a working model for life without a solvent that behaves as water does. None of this needs the verse to have anticipated it. A community living in a dry valley knew perfectly well that water and life go together. The verse asks them to notice that ordinary fact and say who arranged it.
