بَيْتُ اللّٰه

A prayer board for every masjid

Real astronomy on a beautiful screen: adhan times, iqama countdowns, hijri date, announcements and Jumu'ah, on any TV with a browser. Built by NOOR Codex of Light as sadaqah for the houses of Allah.

FREE FOREVER · NO ACCOUNT · NO ADS

1 · Your masjid

Tip: on Google Maps, right-click your masjid and the first line is latitude, longitude.

2 · Calculation

3 · Iqama minutes after adhan

The board computes adhan times from the sun each day; verify once against your local calendar and tune the iqama offsets. High latitudes fall back to the seventh-of-the-night convention and say so on screen.

4 · Jumu'ah, the Friday gathering

Many masajid hold two or three sittings. Name each one as your community says it, give the khutba time, and give the iqama time if the prayer begins at a fixed minute. A sitting with no khutba time is simply left off the board.

Put it on the TV

  1. Open the copied link in the TV's browser (or a small PC or stick plugged into the TV).
  2. Press F, or double-tap, for fullscreen. The cursor hides itself.
  3. Bookmark it: the link carries all your settings. Change anything here and copy the new link.
  4. On Friday the board raises the Jumu'ah panel by itself, with every sitting you named above; the rest of the week it keeps a quiet line, if you asked for one.

The board is a gift of the Codex: free for every masjid, forever, no account, nothing to renew. If your masjid also teaches, the wider Codex is free to use directly too, no subscription.

The rest of the toolbox

The board is one tool of several, all free: the khutba builder, the printable monthly timetable for walls without screens, the qibla and direction tool, and the starter guide for a new prayer space with little means. See the whole toolbox.
